Dementia Resource Network
Offering Family Consultation, Coaching, and Supports
We can help you, your family, and other caregivers/care partners navigate often difficult and confusing decisions by identifying resources and supports and discovering innovative ways to maintain and further develop your relationships with your loved one living with dementia and each other.
The Dementia Resource Network provides consultations, coaching, and support in person or by phone to individuals and groups using a “care team” approach. The individual experiencing memory loss is not the only one living with dementia. We all are - as partners, spouses, families, and communities. Our approach is to promote and support the well-being of all involved, creating a web to “care partner” together.
Working together we can help you and your care team by increasing your:
knowledge about memory loss and related changes in experiencing mental, physical, and spiritual well-being
understanding the emotional, psychological, and physical impact of these changes on all involved in your care team including: yourself, your loved one living with dementia, family, friends, and community
critical skills required to respond to these changes so that you and your care team can continue to create and sustain meaningful relationships and connection
ability to use a person-centered care team approach — meaning that the individual living with dementia is at the center of, and actively participating in, developing responsive care support strategies
